Gordon Perry Gallery
Gordon has been interested in photography since his youth. Some of his early work involved photographing railroads and industrial machinery as well as serving as photgrapher for his high school yearbook and newspaper. After purchasing his first 35mm SLR camera, Gordon conentratedon close-up photography of flowers. While in college, his work centered on photomicrography of biological materials and he also worked in photographic retailing.
Gordon's wife, Jean, has encouraged him to exhibit his photographs along with her artwork in various shows, galleries and small museums. As a Professor of Biological Sciences with a specialty inplant pathology and zoology at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Gordon has developed and taught numerous courses and his photgraphic work focused on the scientific aspect. Since coordinating ideas with Jean, Gordon has found a new approach from a creative perspective.
His photographs of nature and historical scenes have won him numerous awards and his work may be found in many publications and private collections. He has had his photographs published on the covers of Embarq telephone directories in New Jersey.
